The Karnataka High Court questioned whether the Competition Commission of India (CCI) could reconsider its decision to share confidential data on Swiggy with the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI). \r
Justice SR Krishna Kumar suggested sending the matter back to the CCI for resolution after hearing all stakeholders, aiming to expedite the process and save time for all parties involved. Swiggy contested CCI's authorization allowing NRAI access to sensitive information from a report investigating anti-competitive practices by Swiggy and Zomato.\r
The court, after hearing Swiggy's rejoinder arguments, postponed a decision and scheduled further consideration for June 26, proposing a time-bound decision by CCI following comprehensive hearings.
