Homebuyers Failed To Make Timely Payment, MahaRERA Orders Homebuyers To Pay Dues To Builder With Interest
The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) directed homebuyers to pay their outstanding dues with interest to Kapstone Constructions. The homebuyers had only paid 85% of the total amount for a flat in the Rustomjee Azziano Wing F project, despite the builder completing construction and obtaining the occupancy certificate. The authority found that the homebuyers violated the agreement terms and sections 19(6), 19(7), and 19(10) of the Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Act, 2016.
