IBBI to Simplify CIRP Forms by Insolvency Professionals, releases Discussion Paper [Read Order]
The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) has proposed significant changes to the Compliance Reporting Framework for Insolvency Professionals (IPs) handling Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP). The proposal includes a shift to a monthly reporting system, aiming to streamline compliance, reduce duplication, and enhance efficiency. It consolidates various obligations onto the IBBI platform, simplifying processes and improving oversight. \r
Additionally, several forms will be revamped, merged, or eliminated to streamline reporting. These changes are expected to ease compliance burdens for IPs, ensure timely information for monitoring, and offer a single-window interface for reporting obligations, ultimately enhancing regulatory effectiveness in CIRP management.
