ICAI Limits 60 Tax Audit Assignments Per CA Partner from FY 2026-27

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially limited the number of tax audit assignments per CA partner to 60, effective from FY 2026-27 (AY 2027-28). This measure aims to enhance the quality of tax audits, ensure proper professional diligence, and distribute workload more equitably among practitioners.
