ICAI Raises 9 Concerns related to Form 26AS/TIS/AIS and e-filing of ITR Forms

The ICAI has highlighted nine significant issues to the Income Tax Department concerning Form 26AS, TIS, AIS, and the e-filing of ITR forms. These issues include difficulties accessing and discrepancies in forms, limited response options, delayed updates in TIS, technical glitches, mismatched pre-filled data, incorrect dividend income reflection, error messages, OTP non-receipt, and trouble downloading ITR receipts. The ICAI urges the department to address these challenges promptly to ensure a smoother filing process for taxpayers.
