India Extends ADD on Toluene Di-isocyanate (TDI) from EU and Saudi Arabia
India has extended its anti-dumping duty on Toluene Di-isocyanate (TDI) imported from the European Union (EU) and Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Finance’s decision is based on a review by the Directorate General of Trade Remedies, which found that the cessation of the duty would likely lead to a recurrence of dumping and cause injury to the domestic industry. TDI is a key chemical used in the production of foams, coatings, and adhesives. The extension of the duty is a strategic measure to safeguard Indian manufacturers and ensure a level playing field, protecting them from unfairly priced imports.
