India’s defence exports at all-time high! Rajnath Singh says industry ‘grew by 32.5% in FY24’
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announced that India's defence exports reached a record ₹21,083 crore in FY 2023-24, marking a 32.5% growth from the previous year. Singh attributed this success to initiatives taken by the Defence Ministry to boost manufacturing and exports. \r
Earlier, he praised India's defence manufacturing capability, highlighting the country's journey from importer to exporter. India's defence products, such as LCA-Tejas and Brahmos Missiles, have garnered global interest, with exports reaching over 85 countries. \r
This achievement reflects India's growing prowess in the defence sector, with more than 100 firms actively participating in exporting defence products.
