Indian MSMEs See AI As Major Game Changer For Business Operations: Report

According to the GoDaddy global entrepreneurship survey, 94% of small business owners in India believe implementing AI would yield positive outcomes, primarily enhancing customer service (53%), efficiency (41%), and decision-making (40%). Key areas where AI is expected to benefit businesses include marketing (65%), business planning and strategy (61%), and customer experience (52%). \r
Despite the enthusiasm, concerns persist about AI implementation, including lack of awareness (50%), understanding of benefits (45%), costs (43%), and time for adoption (29%). Nonetheless, 97% of small business owners recognize the benefits of digitalization, and 87% anticipate business growth in the next three to five years, with 40% expecting at least a 50% increase. \r
