Indian Overseas Bank has inaugurated an exclusive branch in the city aimed at serving startups and budding entrepreneurs. The branch, launched by top officials, will provide a range of financial products and services. Additionally, the bank plans to establish five more startup branches across the nation. \r
As part of the inauguration, the bank introduced the 'IOB Startup Current Account' and 'IOB Pragati' credit scheme tailored for startup financing. Ajay Kumar Srivastava, Managing Director and CEO of Indian Overseas Bank, emphasized the importance of startups in driving innovation and job creation, stating that the dedicated branch aims to remove financial barriers and support entrepreneurs in realizing their visions. \r
Additionally, the branch has partnered with premier institutes in Chennai to assist recognized startups with financial matters.
