Infra.Market, Blue Energy Motors & Others: Indian Startups Raised US$317 Million in One Week — Funding Trends & Key Players
In the week under review, Indian startups secured approx US$317 million in funding across sectors, notably infrastructure, EVs, green mobility and more. A standout among them is Blue Energy Motors (BEM), which raised US$30 million in fresh capital (led by Nikhil Kamath & Omnitex Industries), bringing its total funding to US$50 million. BEM focuses on manufacturing heavy-duty electric and LNG trucks, with a capacity of 10,000 units annually, about 1,000 of which have already been sold. Their vehicles have logged over 60 million kilometres, cutting CO₂ emissions by more than 15,000 tonnes. Other heavily funded startups in this period include Infra.Market and companies in climate tech, logistics, etc. The funding surge reflects investors’ growing interest in sustainable transportation, green tech, and infrastructure, aligned with India’s policy push towards net zero. The trend underscores heightened investor confidence in business models that combine scale, environmental impact, and robust unit economics.
