Karnataka CA Association Raises 11 Income Tax Portal Glitches before CBDT, Submits Representation
The Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association (KSCAA) has highlighted 11 significant issues with the Income Tax portal in a representation to the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). The KSCAA pointed out problems like incorrect processing of returns, demand for refunds already issued, discrepancies in tax calculations, and issues with the e-proceeding facility. They also raised concerns about the inability to download notices and orders, along with problems related to compliance deadlines.
