The Kerala High Court dismissed a writ petition as withdrawn after the petitioner’s counsel sought permission to withdraw the matter during hearing. The petition, filed in connection with Crime No. 510/2025 of Kongad Police Station, Palakkad, was accordingly dismissed as withdrawn by the Division Bench.
- The petitioner, Sulochana (aged 57 years), wife of Sivan, residing at Kallikkal House, Kizhakkumpuram, Mannur, Palakkad District, Kerala, filed a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
- The petition challenged proceedings arising from Crime No. 510/2025 of Kongad Police Station, Palakkad.
- The petitioner was represented by Sri. P. Mohamed Sabah, Sri. Libin Stanley, Smt. Saipooja, Sri. Sadik Ismayil, Smt. R. Gayathri, Sri. M. Mahin Hamza, Shri. Alwin Joseph, and Shri. Benson Ambrose.
- The respondents included:
State of Kerala, represented by the Additional Chief Secretary (Home Department), Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram.
