WEG S.A. has acquired Regal Rexnord Corporation's industrial electric motors and generators business across multiple countries, including India. In the Indian segment of this global transaction, Regal Rexnord Corporation divested its entire stake in Marathon Electric Motors (India) Limited to WEG Holding B.V., a group entity of WEG S.A. \r

The transaction in India was handled by Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan, with Gaurav Dayal and Sushrut Biswal leading the core team. Legal due diligence and closing matters were managed by a team including Rohan Verma, Suhaas Arora, and others, while employment law issues were overseen by Paritosh Chauhan. \r
