MahaRERA Orders Builder To Apply For Extension, Complete Construction Of Project, And Hand Over Possession To Homebuyers

The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has directed Marvel Realtors & Developers to apply for an extension to complete the Marvel Aquanas project and hand over possession to the homebuyers. The Cooperative Housing Society representing 44 homebuyers filed complaints due to significant delays and lack of basic amenities. Despite multiple extensions, the builder has not made substantial progress. MahaRERA found the project registration lapsed without an extension and ordered the builder to complete construction, apply for the occupancy certificate, and prohibited further sales until possession is delivered.
