Last week witnessed a remarkable surge in market valuations, with nine of the top-10 most-valued firms collectively adding Rs 1,85,320.49 crore. Reliance Industries Ltd and HDFC Bank led the gains, reflecting the broader equity rally. The BSE benchmark surged by 1,404.45 points, reaching an all-time high of 75,636.50.\r
Among the top-10 firms, only ITC saw a decline in market valuation. Reliance Industries saw the highest increase of Rs 61,398.65 crore, followed by HDFC Bank adding Rs 38,966.07 crore. Notable gains were also seen in LIC, Bharti Airtel, Hindustan Unilever, Infosys, SBI, ICICI Bank, and TCS. \r
Despite ITC's decline, it retained its position among the top-10 most-valued firms.
