Mental health startup LISSUN acquires US firm Being Cares

Mental health startup Lissun has acquired US-based Being Cares Inc., an AI-powered mental well-being platform, to build an AI-driven child mental health ecosystem in India. This strategic move grants Lissun full ownership of Being Cares' technology and global team, renowned for developing intelligent systems that identify over 40 emotional and behavioral conditions. The acquisition integrates Lissun’s clinical expertise with Being’s AI tools to offer hyper-personalized care for children. Varun Gandhi and Abhishek Sharma, co-founders of Being Cares Inc., join Lissun’s leadership. Lissun aims to expand its 'Sunshine by Lissun' centers and scale its virtual AI assistant 'Ray' to serve millions.
