The Madhya Pradesh High Court has directed a former Vice-Chancellor of LNIPE (Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education) to pay ₹35 lakh to a Yoga instructor in a sexual harassment case, and also directed the State to pay ₹5 lakh for its failure to register a criminal case. The court found the former VC guilty of sexual harassment based on internal committee findings and also held the police responsible for inaction.
