India faces an MSME financing gap of over $230 billion annually, with women-owned enterprises bearing a disproportionate burden. DFC's support aims to address this gap by aiding Vistaar in expanding its MSME lending portfolio, especially for women-owned and rural enterprises. \r
James Polan from DFC highlighted their commitment to supporting innovative enterprises in India. Vistaar Finance, operational since 2010, focuses on underserved segments. CEO Avijit Saha expressed gratitude for DFC's support, emphasizing Vistaar's goal of empowering women-led entrepreneurship and serving rural markets. \r
The company has aided over 250,000 MSMEs, contributing to India's 'Make in India' initiative.
