MSMEs need agile ecosystem, not just incentives: Priyank Kharge
Mr. Priyank Kharge, a minister from Karnataka, has stated that the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state need an agile and supportive ecosystem, and not just financial incentives. He emphasized that the government's focus should be on creating an environment that fosters innovation, reduces regulatory hurdles, and provides MSMEs with access to technology and skilled manpower. He argued that while financial incentives are helpful, they are not a long-term solution. A more sustainable approach is to build a robust ecosystem where small businesses can thrive on their own merit. This includes providing better infrastructure, simplifying compliance, and creating platforms for market access. His statement reflects a more holistic and modern approach to supporting the MSME sector, moving beyond traditional subsidies to focus on capacity building and empowerment.
