Narayana Health's soon-to-launch second insurance plan will be comprehensive and more costly
Bengaluru-based private hospital chain Narayana Health plans to launch a new, more comprehensive insurance plan by the end of this month or early next month, according to Viren Shetty, the Executive VC. This upcoming plan will include a broad range of outpatient benefits and be priced higher than their entry-level plan 'Aditi', which was introduced on July 1 with an annual premium of ₹10,000. Initially available in four districts around Mysore, 'Aditi' covers basic surgeries and medical procedures in a narrow network of hospitals. Future plans involve expanding coverage to more hospitals and possibly increasing prices based on plan utilization. Narayana Health's market capitalization stands at approximately ₹25,111.86 crore, with shares up nearly 25% over the past year.
