Emphasizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of enhancing skills and generating employment, Manjhi aims to foster entrepreneurship across India. \r
He succeeded Narayan Rane in a recent cabinet reshuffle and represents the Dalit community within the NDA coalition. India currently boasts 4.5 crore registered MSMEs through the Udyam portal, predominantly comprising micro-enterprises. The Udyam Assist Platform, introduced in January 2023, facilitated registration for 1.89 crore micro-enterprises outside the GST ambit, including street vendors. \r
