Patanjali Foods Limited announced the acquisition of Patanjali Ayurved Limited’s non-food business for Rs 1,100 crore, effective July 1, 2024. The deal includes all assets, properties, and employees related to the business at the Haridwar manufacturing plant. The payment will be made in five tranches, subject to approvals from shareholders, lenders, and the Competition Commission of India. Patanjali Foods’ shares rose 7.45% to close at Rs 1,710.00 on Monday.
