The Puducherry government has taken steps to implement new criminal laws from July 1, said PWD and Law Minister K Lakshminarayanan. Training has been provided, and a manual published for police and advocates. A comparative analysis of old and new laws is available, with plans to publish and translate the book into Tamil. \r
