Rajasthan RERA Orders Refund To Four Homebuyers Of Sahara City Homes
The Rajasthan Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has ordered Sahara City Homes to refund four homebuyers a total of ₹26.46 lakh due to delays in delivery of their properties. The homebuyers had booked their homes in 2012 with an expected completion date in 2016, but the properties were not delivered on time. Despite multiple extensions, Sahara City Homes failed to meet the deadline, leading the homebuyers to seek redress through RERA. The authority ruled in favor of the homebuyers, emphasizing the need for timely delivery in real estate transactions. Sahara City Homes must now refund the amounts along with interest as directed by RERA.
