The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) appointed Shri Arnab Kumar Chowdhury as Executive Director (ED) effective June 3, 2024. Previously Chief General Manager-in-Charge in the Department of Supervision, Shri Chowdhury has over three decades of RBI experience. He will oversee Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation, Foreign Exchange Department, and International Department.
