On Wednesday, Indian private bank stocks surged, with the Nifty Private Bank index climbing 4.10%, outpacing the Nifty50, which rose 3.01% to 22,453 levels. RBL Bank, IndusInd Bank, Bandhan Bank, and City Union Bank saw notable gains of 7.2%, 6.7%, 6.6%, and 6.4%, respectively, in intraday trading. \r
Other banks like Federal Bank, IDFC First Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank also rose between 2% to 6%. The outlook for private banks has improved following uncertainty over public banks due to the formation of a coalition government. \r
