SEBI Bars SecUR Credentials And Rahul Belwalkar From Securities Market Amidst Allegations Of Fund Mismanagement
SEBI issued an interim order against SecUR Credentials and Managing Director Rahul Belwalkar for alleged securities market regulation violations. SecUR, listed on NSE Emerge and later the mainboard, faced scrutiny over financial irregularities.
SEBI found that Belwalkar was involved in fund diversions to company-associated entities without proper disclosure.
Consequently, Belwalkar is barred from securities market activities and directorial positions. SEBI cited lapses in financial governance, inaccurate financial disclosures, and misleading revenue recognition practices, violating the SEBI Act and LODR Regulations.
Additionally, Belwalkar's dual role as Managing Director and Compliance Officer breached corporate governance norms.
