SilverPush Faces Growth Stall in FY25, Posts Rs 18 Crore Loss Despite Digital Ad Market Expansion and AI Focus
SilverPush, a Gurugram-based AI-powered marketing technology platform, reported subdued growth in FY25, with revenue increasing only 11% to Rs 386 crore, compared to nearly 120% growth in FY24. The company slipped into a loss of Rs 17.6 crore, marking a sharp turnaround from the Rs 6 crore profit recorded the previous year. EBITDA stood at negative Rs 9.45 crore with an EBITDA margin of -2.5%. The company provides contextual advertising, audience targeting, and ad measurement solutions, enabling businesses to track ad performance. Cost of sales, including cloud infrastructure, data, and media costs, accounted for Rs 233 crore (63% of total expenses), employee benefits accounted for Rs 77 crore (21%), and other expenses including finance costs and depreciation totaled Rs 58 crore. SilverPush held current assets worth Rs 175 crore, including Rs 49 crore in cash. Challenges included rising competition, AI-driven ad avoidance, and e-commerce platforms reducing advertising budgets. Despite the difficult environment, the company projects crossing Rs 500 crore in revenue and regaining Rs 19 crore profitability in FY26. The recent GST cuts may provide additional support, but the firm faces ongoing margin pressure. SilverPush’s focus on video advertising is expected to provide some insulation from market volatility.
