Supreme Court To Implement AI Tool To Generate Summary Of Pleadings: Delhi High Court ACJ Manmohan

The Delhi High Court’s Acting Chief Justice Manmohan discussed the implementation of an AI tool developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to generate summaries of legal pleadings. Speaking at the IBA International Conference in Mexico City, he highlighted the potential of AI to improve efficiency in ADR and justice delivery processes. The AI tool, known as AI Saransh, can generate précis of pleadings, highlighting contentious issues. The judge also mentioned other AI tools like TERES and AI SUVAS, which assist in transcription and translation of judgments. He emphasized that AI can offer deeper insights and streamline the review process, making legal proceedings more efficient.
