Telangana RERA imposes costs on Aura Builders for non-registration of Velimala project, enforcing compliance. The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TGRERA) has imposed a penalty of ₹14.9 lakh on Bhuvanteza Infrastructures LLP (Aura Builders) for failing to register their 'Aura Velimala Phase 1' project under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016. The TGRERA found the developers in violation of RERA Sections 3 and 4 by marketing and selling units without prior registration. The authority also directed the developers to jointly and severally refund amounts collected from 62 homebuyers with 11% annual interest, underscoring its commitment to enforcing compliance and protecting buyer rights.
