The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) informed the Allahabad High Court about its investigation into a candidate's claim of tampered answer sheets in the UP Judicial Service Civil Judge (Junior Division) (Mains) Examination, 2022. \r
Advocate Nisheeth Yadav, representing UPPSC, stated that discrepancies may have arisen due to the anonymization process. The court was informed that scrutiny of all 18,042 answer sheets of 3,019 candidates was underway. Despite difficulties in immediately producing the candidate's answer sheets, an assurance was given to present them with a comprehensive report post-inquiry. \r
UPPSC also pledged to preserve all related records until the case's conclusion. The court scheduled further proceedings for July 1, emphasizing the need to address any mistakes and provide access to the petitioner's answer sheets.
