UP govt nod for MSME Industrial Estate Management Policy, 10% of all plots & sheds to be reserved for SC/ST entrepreneurs

The Uttar Pradesh government has approved the "MSME Industrial Estate Management Policy, 2025," to promote industries through easy land allocation, better facilities, and management. The policy, which was formally notified through an order issued by Additional Chief Secretary (MSME) Alok Kumar, introduces e-auctions for the allotment of industrial plots and sheds on a lease or rental basis. The policy also reserves 10% of all plots for SC/ST entrepreneurs. The move is a significant step towards boosting investor confidence and promoting industrial growth in the state.
