Updated List of Banks for e-Pay Tax Service Now Available on e-Filing Portal

The Income Tax Department has updated the list of banks for the e-Pay Tax service on the e-Filing portal, enabling taxpayers to pay taxes online seamlessly. This service supports payments for advance tax, self-assessment tax, and regular assessment tax. The updated list includes 28 banks such as Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, State Bank of India, and new additions like Bandhan Bank and Karnataka Bank. The integration with these banks offers a variety of payment options, enhancing the convenience and efficiency of online tax payments.
