Bidding Window questions

  • Who can see my enquiry once it is open for bidding?

Only Professional Users who have registered for every service in your enquiry. They see the enquiry details and your Relationship Manager's contact details, but never your name or contact details. Bids are confidential: each professional sees only their own bid.

  • How long does bidding stay open?

By default the bidding window is 72 hours. When it ends, you, the bidders and your Relationship Manager are notified. The enquiry is not closed automatically; you can still compare bids and choose a professional.

  • What happens if nobody bids?

If no bid arrives within 24 hours by default, you and your Relationship Manager are notified. The Relationship Manager can then assign a suitable professional directly, or help you revise or close the enquiry.

  • Can a professional bid on only part of my enquiry?

No. Every bid must price every service in the enquiry, and the professional you choose takes the whole enquiry.

  • How do I compare the bids I receive?

You can sort bids by the date received, by price (low to high or high to low) and by the professional's previous ratings and feedback, and filter them by price range. Each bid shows a fee breakdown, the estimated time and the professional's remarks.

  • When does bidding end?

Bidding ends when you pay for the enquiry and assign a professional, or when the enquiry is cancelled. After that, the enquiry is removed from the bidding area and professionals who were not selected can no longer see it.
